DES MOINES Hawkeye Bancorporation posted record earnings for 1975 with 1.69 per share, up 24.3 percent from 1974. Net income reached 3,596,216. Total assets 476,343,819, deposits 423,325,230, loans 260,658,346. Directors declare 2 percent stock dividend for March 15 and plan a 1976 dividend of 56 cents per share.

Grinnell Miracle Recreation Equipment Co reports 4 percent lower sales in 1975 from 1974 but a 64 percent rise in earnings. Net earnings were 570,272 dollars or 59 cents a share on 971,980 shares, versus 346,064 dollars or 35 cents on 979,808 shares in 1974. Sales total 11,709,021 dollars in 1975, down from 12,188,176 dollars in 1974. Directors approve a 6 cent dividend payable April 1, 1976, and the annual stockholders meeting is set for April 19.

Land O Lakes Buys Refinery in East Chicago Ind

Land O Lakes Inc and eight cooperatives bought an East Chicago refinery from Atlantic Richfield with a 126000 barrel daily capacity serving foreign and domestic crude. The $80 million deal, effective April 1, boosts cooperative production capacity into the 1980s. Atlantic Richfield will supply most customers during transition. Mid-Continent operates a Cedar Rapids bottling plant.
