Organic foods lack extra nutritive value say ARS expert
Washington by UPI Dr Ruth M Leverton science advisor to the ARS warns that organically grown foods may taste better or fresher but do not offer added nutrition. She notes inorganic nutrients are largely what plants absorb and that higher organic costs do not equate to higher nutritive value. Production limits would prevent supplying the entire population with organic foods.
