Valley Forge Pa Friday saw Iowa winners in the Freedoms Foundation annual awards. Recipients include Abraham Lincoln High School Council Bluffs for high school editorial honors and A N Piper Nonpareil for editorial. Des Moines Equitable Life and its editor George Pease earned honors for employee publication, with the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation winning second for its freedom project. Windsor Heights Jaycees received an honor for their Americanism program, Sioux City Adult Education Center for its community program, and Eldon Pletcher of the Sioux City Journal won for the cartoon Freedom's Watchword.
