The Cedar Rapids hog market Friday held steady across weight classes with 210 to 230 Ib butchers at 41.00 to 42.00, packers up to 550 Ib up to 550 Ib at 36.50 to 37.50 for sows, and discounts for light and heavier hogs. Sheep quoted wool at 52.00 and shorn at 54.00 with 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. buying hours. Webster City livestock notes show active hog trade, steady to higher sow prices, and price ranges across weight brackets.
