Handicap Committee Honors C R Firms

Two Cedar Rapids firms received merit awards from the President's Committee on Employment of the Handicapped for outstanding service in hiring handicapped men and women. Des Moines presented the awards to Earle Le Van of St. Luke's hospital and John V. Cookman of Burns Detective agency. Seven Iowa firms received the awards presented by the governor's of the handicapped.

Wilderness Camping Project Planned by Explorer Scouts
