Ruth Butterfield formerly of Center Point died February 18 2014 two days after her 97th birthday at home with her daughter and son in law. A celebration of Ruths life is set for February 22 at Noelridge Christian Church in Cedar Rapids. Family will greet friends February 21 at Murdoch Funeral Home Center Point. Memorials directed to the CWF of First Christian Church Center Point to fund a new commercial store and Ruths long cherished aspiration. Ruth was longtime Center Point High School food service manager.
