Bond Attorneys Seek Ordinance Copies for Cedar Rapids Bonds
Bond attorneys reviewing Cedar Rapids plan to issue more sewage revenue bonds asked the city to send 1954 and 1955 sewer revenue bond ordinances. Finance Commissioner Stewart Shank said Chap man and Cutler of Chicago will receive the information immediately. He expects Friday word on parity with prior bonds and sees no reason they cannot be issued. The sale would finance the city’s share of a 2.1 million project to install an ozone air treatment system at the water pollution control plant.
