Robber robs Cedar Rapids credit union then flees past surveillance
A masked man with a handgun robbed Linn Area Credit Union in Cedar Rapids around 9:20 a.m. and jogged north along Sixth Avenue SW. Surveillance cams captured images. no arrests by midafternoon. A K-9 search followed, description: white male 20s, 6 foot 2 to 6 foot 4, skinny, black mask gray hoodie navy pants hiking boots.

Iowa football player set to plead guilty in assault case
Iowa defensive end Adrian Clayborn is expected to plead guilty in an assault charge stemming from a January 2009 incident with a cabdriver. A March 19 hearing will address the guilty plea and disposition. Clayborn, 21, faced up to one year in prison and a fine.
