Fight precedes Iowa City shooting at Pheasant Ridge
The incident began with a February 6 confrontation between two women at 2411 Bartelt Rd. in Iowa City. Darius Davison, 20, allegedly fired at least four rounds at the other woman's boyfriend, injuring him with gunshot wounds to the face and lower abdomen. Davison was arrested in Bloomington Illinois by U.S. Marshals and awaits extradition to Johnson County on a felony count of attempted murder.
