Michigan man faces drug charges after I 80 stop in Iowa
David Brady of Trenton Michigan was stopped for speeding on Interstate 80 in western Iowa last week. A deputy found about 220 pounds of marijuana in his car trunk and Brady was charged with possession with intent to deliver. He posted 65 000 bond and was released from Cass County jail.

Rendering machine crushes packing plant worker death
Raul Perez-Rojas, 36, a worker at Pine Ridge Farms formerly Iowa Packing Co., was killed when he fell onto a rendering machine and was crushed. Police said the incident Sunday appears accidental at the meat packing plant in Des Moines.

Clarksville Man Dies After Head-On Crash
Clarksville resident William Clark, 33, died in a head-on collision on County Road C-33 east of Clarksville in Butler County. The other driver Marc Sinram, 33, was reported in serious condition at Covenant Medical Center. Lisa Trees, 29, was hospitalized in Waterloo. A separate hit-and-run near Corwith left Paul Anderson, 48, dead while walking on a northern Iowa road. no arrests yet, investigation ongoing.
