City to subsidy stadium costs under new lease terms
The city will cover water sewer and garbage bills for five years estimated at 32000 annually. It will also pay up to 120000 for initial groundskeeping equipment and 1.5 cents per thousand of the property tax levy for stadium upkeep, about 60000 to 70000 annually. In 1999 Fitzpatrick allegedly stole six bladder scopes valued at 44800 from University Hospitals Iowa City. St Luke's staff reported an Olympus projector camera missing after faults and repairs.
