Cedar Rapids School Board approves pool lease and summer plans
The Cedar Rapids Community School Board approved a renewed 18 000 annual lease for Elizabeth Bender Swimming Pool, a May 3–7 band trip to Texas, and 1978 summer school programs with fees and income projected at 123 740. They also advanced personnel changes, resignations, leaves, and a budget outlook for 1978 79, and began updating district policies while planning a March 13 budget hearing.
