Five Hurt In Auto And Taxicab Crash

Cedar Rapids executive F D Denlinger 79 longtime officer and director of the Perpetual Savings and Loan Association died at his home on 1928 B avenue E. He served as secretary for 36 years and was vice president after retiring for health reasons. Denlinger helped build the association from thousands in assets to over 4 million and led in Iowa Building and Loan circles. He was born October 28, 1860 and had a career spanning shoe trade banking and frontier development in Oklahoma and Kansas before returning to Cedar Rapids.
