University of Iowa Professor Named to Transportation Study

William H. Meier, age 53, of 3656 Worthington Drive SE, was charged with drunk driving after a Linn County sheriff stopped him in the 3700 block of C Street SW. He allegedly fled and almost struck the patrol car before being taken into custody. He was released Sunday on a promise to appear in court.
