Miss Janice Irene Keiper and Karl A. Nelson wed Saturday at St. Stephen's Lutheran Atkins with Rev. Robert Stohlmann presiding. A 150 guest reception followed in the church social room.
Miss Phyllis Ann Heindselman of 63042 L Street SW to wed Keith I. Henderson son of the Alfred I. Hendersons of 1306 Nineteenth Avenue SW in Trinity United Methodist Church. Parents are Mrs Donna Heindselman and Verle Heindselman. Miss Heindselman attended Kirkwood Community College. Henderson works for FMC Corp Link Belt Speeder division.
Miss Harriet A Hirsch and Wayne Kalinsky were honored at an engagement party Saturday hosted by the Marvin Feders with co host Mr and Mrs Ron Feder. Sixty five guests attended. the couple will marry in June.
Mr. and Mrs. Dale Roberts of Fayette announce the engagement of their daughter Carol of 706 Eighth street SE to Joel Wood son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Wood of Maynard. Carol attends Kirkwood Community College and Joel worked at Collins Radio Co after attending Upper Iowa college. The couple plans a spring wedding.
Miss Kathy Mae Boyles and Norman Wayne Roberts wed in Ellis Park Church of God with Rev. Earl Osnes officiating. A reception for 200 followed. she wore Chantilly lace over satin with a Dior headpiece and carried sweetheart roses. they will reside at 208 Twelfth Street SE.
Miss Dorthy Louise King daughter of Mr and Mrs John W King wed Edward Charles Ceynar son of Mr and Mrs Lumir Ceynar of 1629 Fourteenth avenue SE at 4 30 Saturday Jess L McCormick JP officiated at his home 1105 Twenty-ninth street Marion The bride wore an Empire Aline gown of silk organza and Chantilly lace with lace petal clip and seed pearl veil She carried white carnations and red roses A pink Empire A line linen dress marked the matron of honor Mr Ceynar stood as best man A reception for 60 followed at the bride’s parents home They will reside at 1016 Eighth street NW The bride works at Craemers department store and the groom at Harper and McIntire Co.
Miss Julia Anne Bales and Kenneth Allan Bowman were married at the United Methodist church in SHUEYVILLE with the Rev. Clif ford Carter officiating. The couple plans to reside at 616 Fourth avenue SE Cedar Rapids after a two week southeastern states trip. Bowman is employed by Wilson Sinclair.
