Census Bureau launches American Community Survey nationwide
The American Community Survey will sample 3 million people annually by 2003 to replace the decennial long form. In 2010 every household will receive a short form, reducing census workers. In Iowa the ACS operates in 25 of 99 counties including Linn, Johnson and Dubuque, with about 400 households in each county surveyed.
