Coralville council split approves leash ordinance first reading

Kulow murder trial delayed to May in Johnson County
Ronald Kulow, 32, charged with first degree murder in the death of his wife Deborah last August, remains jailed on 250000 bond. A Johnson County District Court judge moved his trial from February 25 to May 13 at 9 a.m. due to medical and psychiatric tests not yet completed. County Attorney J Patrick White sought the delay to finish preparations after state ordered expert exams at Iowa Medical and Classification Center and an MRI at University Hospitals at state expense.
