Goldovsky keeps quality alive in La Boheme Cedar Rapids
The Goldovsky troupe gave a moving La Boheme at the Paramount Theater despite a small Cedar Rapids audience. John West as Rodolfo and Daisy Newman as Mimi led a strong cast with Pamela La Salle as Musetta, plus solid support from Karoulatos, Javore, and Crist. The 17‑piece orchestra performed with expert command and the staging, acting, and timing impressed observers.
