The bulletin lists high and low temperatures for several cities on Wednesday, precipitation totals, barometer readings, humidity, wind, sunrise and sunset times, and a Feb precipitation total. It also reports births in several towns, a marriage note, and multiple funeral services with locations and times across Decorah, Vinton, Edgewood, and nearby areas.
The report lists numerous individuals from addresses in Iowa City and surrounding towns fined for speeding improper passing disobeying a stop sign and related offenses with amounts of ten dollars ten or fifteen dollars and costs. It also notes a 30 day vagrancy sentence suspended conditioned on leaving town and a list of services for various towns including Norway Cascade Oelwein Decorah Calmar Elgin and Ruby continuing from page one.
The Chamber of Commerce membership drive shows 290 signups with 78 Junior Chamber members, 14 Senior Men's bureau, and 198 regular memberships. By noon Wednesday total was 103 and prize winners for the largest signup were not yet decided.

McLoud Run hookup serves Hiawatha north of Blairs Ferry road and east of highway 150, Dry Run feeds north of Blairs Ferry road west of 150. Hiawatha council approves 125000 dollar bonding share for the project.
Jakarta reports the Indonesian air force launched a surface to air guided missile of a type once used to shoot down U2 aircraft. The report cites Antara News Agency as the source for the claim.
Washington AP reports Rep. Harry Sheppard deposited 275000 in cash across eight savings and loan institutions and several banks to organize his finances. The 79-year-old California Democrat may retire after a 14th term pending a Bethesda Naval Hospital checkup. He says the funds, mostly from his precongressional career, a late father’s inheritance, and an endowment policy, were kept in cash for lack of time to manage investments.
Fred E. Collard 60 years a Cedar Rapids resident and real estate man for 40 years died at 6:40 am after a brief illness. Born February 13 1880 near Manchester he was survived by no immediate family. He belonged to First Christian church Mt Hermon Masonic lodge Iowa Consistory El Kahir Shrine Chamber of Commerce and Cedar Rapids Trav eling Men's club. Memorial services will be held at Turner chapel with burial in Oakland cemetery Manchester. Friends may call at the chapel.
William John Feight infant son of Mr. and Mrs. William L. Feight of 615 Avenue NW died Wednesday evening. Survived by parents and grandparents Farol Feight Cedar Rapids Marvin Titler Central City. Graveside services 1 30 p m Saturday at Cedar Memorial cemetery by Rev. David L. Warner. Casket will not be opened. Murdoch Funeral Home Marion in charge.
Annie Lunacek died recent. funeral held Saturday at Janeba Kub a funeral home with Rev. A T Washington officiating. Burial followed at Czech National Cemetery.

Rudolph Sova Jr aged 51 a Cedar Rapids representative of Hayden Stone and Co died in New York City from a heart attack while at a school of instruction. He was a former highway patrolman and Toledo implement dealer, navy veteran, and Legion and VFW member. Survived by wife Elsie Jo Baker two sons Tom and Richard and twin daughters Beverly Barbara. Body returned to Henderson funeral home Toledo.
A federal judge allowed Nashville insurance man James Tippens to testify only to support chief government witness Edward Partin about a bribe offer alleged in Hoffa juror tampering case. The court barred any outside court discussions and cautioned that Tippens would not reveal conversations. Medlin and Hoffa associates face bribery charges tied to a 1962 Nashville jury.
A bus ran off a road and plunged into a river in Rio de Janeiro killing 34 passengers and the driver. One passenger survived the disaster, authorities said.
Gov Harold E Hughes will headline the 1964 Democratic campaign kickoff dinner in Cedar Rapids with a 7 p.m. dinner after a 6:30 p.m. reception at the Sheraton-Montrose. The Coast Guard rejects the Miami coast guard auxiliary's plan to receive Elvis Presley’s 165 foot former presidential yacht. Presley offered the Potomac after buying it at auction and initially approached March of Dimes for a gift. The auxiliary would instead have used proceeds for a new club house, a motive the Coast Guard deemed unsafe and off mission.

Carol Edgerly, a former Albert's Cleaners cashier in Cedar Rapids, dismissed her defamation suit seeking 32900 dollars. She claimed manager Robert Omar and owners Arthur J. and John Albert accused her of embezzling 49.85 dollars, leading to embezzlement charges later acquitted December 7, 1960. The dismissal did not reveal any settlement.
Kay E Oberbreckling 18 of Ryan pled guilty before Judge Charles Penningroth to forgery. She received ten years in the women’s reformatory at Rockwell City and probation and was ordered to pay 186 dollars restitution for two checks written at Kilian’s in Cedar Rapids. The charged checks included an 85 dollar payment forged in the name of Mrs. William Moore of Iowa City.

Judy Ellis a 20 year old practical nurse at St Luke's hospital was injured in a car pedestrian crash at First Avenue NE and Thirteenth Street E. Charles Farber 34 of Fairlane Drive NE drove the car as Ellis crossed in a crosswalk during a green arrow turn. She was in fairly good condition at the hospital. The 9:45 a.m. crash is under police investigation.
