The Winneshiek County board agreed to help fund replacing or repairing the Wonder Creek Bridge on County Road W-14 in Spillville with a 10 percent local share if Spillville covers the other 10 percent. Federal funding would cover 80 percent. Engineer Hanzlik estimated the county share at 7,500 to 12,500 dollars. The action followed Spillville councilmen Zoulek and Klimish’s request. The board also granted auditing duties to Dee Gosling & Co. for the 1983 CDBG program at a fee not to exceed 575 dollars after being the lowest bid. They seek volunteers for a citizens advisory committee to the Solid Waste Agency.
