Dubuque Judge Oberhausen dies before birthday
Judge John C. Oberhausen of Dubuque County District Court died in a hospital on Saturday, one day before his 57th birthday, from an apparent cerebral hemorrhage. Harold Hughes is appointed to replace him. In Tama County Court Stevens Dean Jacobs, 18, pled guilty to manslaughter. sentencing moved to February 28 after a psychologist evaluation ordered by Judge John L. Hyland.
