Janet Kay Myers married Airman Third Class Richard D. Beck Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Charles Keyes officiating. The ceremony featured pink and white floral decor, a lace Chantilly gown, and a reception at the YWCA with family and friends.

The couple plans Marshalltown home where the bride will work in the ASC office and the groom serves with the highway commission. Miss Shirley Ann Hanus daughter of Emil Hanus wed Gordon M Blocker son of Melvin Blocker Sunday at Tama Methodist church. Blocker works for Marshall Manufacturing Company in Marshalltown.

Faye Lou Wells and Sherman J. Ewoldt exchanged wedding vows at the local Methodist church on Saturday. The ceremony was conducted by Rev. The couple will reside in Waterloo after a California wedding trip. he works at Russelow hatchery and she at the Waterloo Courier.

The social fraternities at Coe College pledged 72 men in a Sunday morning ceremony ending a week of formal rushing. Pledges include Alpha Theta Chi local Richard Dee and Gene Leininger. Lambda Chi Alpha members Richard Voss, John Power, Robert Janda, and others from Cedar Rapids, Vinton, Holstein, Marion, Monticello, Moline, Elmhurst, and Duluth. Additional pledges come from Phi Kappa Tau, Sigma Nu and several cities across Iowa and Illinois.
