Lynn B Kehm 94 of Hiawatha died February 9 2017 from Parkinsons complications. Funeral Saturday 11 a.m. Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor David Renfro. visitation 10 a.m. Burial with full military honors Linwood Cemetery. Born December 2 1922 in Compton New Mexico. He served as master sergeant in the 7th Infantry Division and fought in Leyte and Okinawa. He married Dorothy Mae Sobers in 1948 and had four children and nine grandchildren plus eight great grandchildren. He worked over 40 years at Iowa Manufacturing and was active in church leadership. Memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church.

Iowa City woman charged after courhouse outburst during domestic case
Patricia E. Goss, 75, faced tampering with a witness or juror aggravated misdemeanor along with third degree harassment and disorderly conduct after an aggressive outburst at the Johnson County Courthouse during a domestic assault trial. The incident left the alleged victim fearful to testify. A deputy removed Goss from the building. In a separate Iowa City fire, firefighters found a basement blaze at 60 Arbury Dr injuring no one and causing about 10000 in damages. The fire is under investigation.
