Honey Creek Resort seeks more visitors to meet budget goals
The New York firm Delaware North Parks & Resorts operates Honey Creek Resort in southeast Iowa and reports 2017 revenue of 6.22 million, below the 6.71 million budget despite growth from 2016. Judge limits return of animals to Vinton couple
In a Benton County ruling Judge Patrick Grady said Marshall and Barbara Galkowski may reclaim no more than 10 rabbits or guinea pigs, one turtle and three lizards from over 500 seized animals. Birds and a ball python remain forfeited. the couple will cover seizure and care costs. Remaining animals to be sold in groups of up to 10 or destroyed after Feb. 18 if unsold.
