Prairie district expands school projects and funds plan
Prairie district boosts costs for Prairie Crest and Prairie Middle School projects to 2.8 million and 6.9 million respectively while adding six classrooms and two restrooms at Crest. Track renovation and football lights slated at Prairie High for about 160000. The district funds furnishings from the physical plant and equipment fund and plans to use reserves if needed, with a 12.70 tax rate per 1000 and bond-driven construction under voter approval.
