Cedar Rapids man Edward M Heiderscheid, later linked to a February 14 1975 robbery, sues Patrolman William C Hintz and the city in Linn district court for 750000 actual damages and 50000 punitive damages. His wife Donna seeks 25000 for loss of consortium after Heiderscheid was shot in the lower abdomen and buttocks while fleeing from the Log Cab in the robbery aftermath.
