Johnson County supervisors voted 4-0 to approve an 8.9 million contract with Iowa Bridge and Calvert to replace the 562-foot Mehaffey Bridge over Coralville Lake between North Liberty and Solon. Construction starts this spring and lasts about two years with traffic open during work.
