Linn Demos oppose ending early caucuses discussion
At Linn County precinct caucuses on Monday night both parties reported notable turnout and strong feelings on preserving early caucuses. Democrats faced opposition to a national study committee's recommendation to end early caucuses, while Republicans noted Carter faced scrutiny amid hopes to replace him. Delegates elected will carry preferences to county conventions. Democratic and Republican county conventions set for March 11 and March 4 respectively.
