College Community District Sets $49.5 Million Bond Election
The College Community district scheduled a April 7 bond referendum for 49.5 million to fund renovations at Prairie High School Prairie Creek Intermediate and three elementaries Prairie Crest Prairie Heights and Prairie View. Phase one includes new classroom space a larger commons and a redesigned entrance plus HVAC and electrical updates. If approved taxes would rise about 2 per thousand then ease to current levels. a second 20 million bond could follow in 2019 to fund an intermediate school and further Prairie Creek renovations.
