Police chief fires shot in four minute pursuit
Investigators say Kyle Wasson was shot after a struggle in a patrol car with Officer Kyle Warkentin. The gun lay on the ground and was not under Wasson’s control when the fatal shot was fired. Wasson had been chasing on a motorcycle and suffered chest injuries along with abrasions. The incident occurred quickly, leading to ongoing questions about justification and potential misconduct.
