Wintertime Fishing class at Mount Mercy College nets real-world lessons
Dr. Frank Jaszcz led a January interim course in wintertime fishing for four Mount Mercy students. The week by week plan included lectures, fishing trips in Iowa and Michigan, and a final exam. Students fished for brook trout, bluegills, bass, steelheads, salmon, and pike, then attended a fish fry at the instructor’s home.
