Thirteen Year Old Bride Released in Indiana
Dorothy Jean Foster Harrell aged 13 and her 21 year old husband James Harrell a WPA worker from Vincennes Indiana were jailed for allegedly falsifying her age on a marriage license. Dorothy said she would not live with her father in Petersburg or return to school and preferred to stay with her husband.
