Linn District Jury Clears Ross Refrigeration in Ely Theft Claim
A Linn County jury found L W Ross and Sons Inc doing business as Ross Refrigeration not liable for removing refrigeration equipment from the Ely Provisions building in 1979. Ross contended the bank dealt with differently named entities. The verdict favoring Ross came after less than an hour of deliberation.
