City Attorney touts self supporting legal department
Marion’s City Attorney Don Hoskins reported the legal department operates self supporting. He noted a Social Security refund of 102000 dollars plus anticipated further refunds dating to 1953. Annual savings from dropping Social Security payments will exceed the legal budget of about 56000 dollars.
