Bill could limit teen babysitting in Iowa homes

A House Human Resources Committee bill would bar teens under 18 from babysitting for two or more families in their own homes to tighten licensing of home care. Iowa senator co sponsors bill to save Veterans Affairs Committee

Atkins Man Hurt In Crash Near Unmarked Intersection

Michael Nichols 28 of Atkins remained hospitalized in fair condition with multiple injuries after a two vehicle crash at an unmarked gravel intersection north of Atkins.
