Ninety four new registrations for the March election have been filed at the city clerk and registration office in city hall along with 170 changes of residence. A person who changed name since last voting needs a new registration, especially married or divorced women. Change of residence must be officially noticed. A Cedar Rapids voter is registered if they voted in the presidential election of November 8, 1932 and then voted in Cedar Rapids at least once in the next four calendar years. To vote, one must be a US citizen, 21 or older, and a resident of the state for six months and the county for 60 days.
