Cedar Rapids drug cases allege multiple possessions and trafficking
The Log reports several eastern Iowa arrests. Stephen Washburn is accused of possession of heroin and methamphetamine at 309 Monmouth St SW Cedar Rapids on December 5. Muhannad Abdel-Haleem faces counts for possession with intent to deliver marijuana and related tax violations tied to about 112 grams found at his Cedar Rapids home on December 7. Dekota Sprague is charged with possession of a controlled substance and related offenses after a December 8 traffic stop on Sixth Street SW Cedar Rapids. Ryan Lavin, from Denver, is accused of possession with intent to deliver and tax stamp violations based on a Dec 9 find of about 13 kilograms of marijuana and $13,430 in cash in a Country Inn and Suites room in Cedar Rapids.
