Community Foundation Awards Grants To 41 Johnson County Groups
The Community Foundation of Johnson County will award more than a total of 250 thousand dollars to 41 area nonprofits at its January luncheon at the Iowa City Sheraton. Grants are allocated across arts and culture education environment and health and human services with substantial donor-advised funds also distributed to listed organizations. Theisen's also announced grants totaling 156 thousand to 94 agencies serving children and families plus a 2500 grant to the Iowa Humane Alliance for a regional spay neuter campaign and wreath laying at multiple sites honoring service members.
