Johnson County Historical Society releases its first book All In One Room History of Country Schools in Johnson County Iowa detailing the rise and decline of one room schools from 1870 to 1966. Franklin L. Yoder author and Snake Hollow alum discusses classroom life and consolidation, with maps photos and school lore. Proceeds support the historical society and books are sold locally and online.
