Judge overturns Arkansas ban on foster homes with gays
Pulaski County Circuit Judge Timothy Fox ruled that a 1999 Arkansas Child Welfare Regulation banning gays from foster homes exceeded authority. He said the board cannot regulate public morality and found no rational link between the blanket exclusion and children’s health safety or welfare.
