Snowshoe clad rescue teams recovered four survivors Tuesday at a Christmas Eve plane crash site in the Colorado Rockies about 100 miles southwest of Denver. The plane downsized to 50 degrees inside as 18 degree wind battered the scene. Survivors, two adults and two teenagers, suffered frost bite and expect to stay overnight at the site as rescuers search for the missing pilot. Dozens of avalanches, some triggered by dynamite, buried the region after a fierce storm dumped 15 to 35 inches of new snow.
