Weather Worsens Across Iowa With Snow and Cold
Blizzard conditions reported in Mt. Vernon with about three inches of snow. Skies cleared but temperatures fell to three above zero at Waterloo and to 15 in Sioux City and Council Bluffs. Precipitation totals ranged from .58 inch at Davenport to .10 inch at Dubuque, with seven inches in Keokuk and Washington and four inches at Fort Madison.
