Dairy Outlook Favorable Despite Slump in Prices
Iowa State College dairy marketing specialists Henry Homme and John Shaul report 1953 should be fairer for dairymen than 1951 and 1952, despite sharp declines in butter and cheese prices and large government purchases. They note strong butter production in fall and conclude support prices may be altered but remain near parity, stabilizing future butter sales.
