Horizons reports higher earnings and independence for seniors as fares drop to three dollars enabling GED access and childcare relief. The nonprofit served 650 clients, with most under 80 percent area median income and substantial housing counseling gains. After 24 years, Mike Barnhart retired and Katie Catswall became CEO, guiding plans for Animeals and Our Place center to revitalize Oak Hill Jackson facility for older adults. Directors highlight commitment to dignity, holistic well being, and community partnerships through 2025 and beyond.
