UnityPoint Health has not reached a contract agreement with Amerigroup of Iowa for serving Iowa Medicaid patients. Officials say negotiations continue with a possible year end resolution and no guaranteed deal by December 31. If unresolved, UnityPoint providers may lose Amerigroup access from April 1, except for emergency care.
