Weather disrupts flights for Pasadena trip and highway closure
Three chartered flights left for Pasadena on Friday and three more set for Sunday as weather affected travel. Fog and ice delayed flights to St. Louis and traffic to Chicago, with a Cedar Rapids to Des Moines bus reroute. By 7 p.m. conditions improved and all flights proceeded. The Iowa 30 bypass near the ADM plant remained closed at 7:30 p.m. causing detours.
