Toledo hockey players bond after Des Moines fracas
In Des Moines Iowa six Toledo Ohio IHL players including general manager coach Ted Garvin were charged with assaulting a police officer and interfering with police duties after a Friday night melee at the Des Moines Ice Arena. Garvin posted $85 bond while the six others posted $110 bonds each. A spectator Larry Bishop, 32, was charged with disturbing the peace and disobeying a police officer after the incident. Hearing dates will be set for all eight.
