Cairo reports two 24 foot high plaster statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III and Queen Tiy will preside over the Egyptian pavilion at the 1937 Paris exhibition. The figures come from Thebes and are the Cairo museum's largest ancient pieces. Amenhotep III, part of a powerful era, reportedly slain 102 lions before age ten.
