Stokes Aims to Finish What She Started at UConn
The 2011 Iowa Ms Basketball turned Connecticut Huskies forward Kiah Stokes has battled injuries and Auriemma’s critiques to reclaim a rotation spot. Now entering her junior season she averages 8.2 rebounds in about 21 minutes per game and seeks to prove she can finish the job she came to do. She rejected transferring and embraced a larger role as teammates Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis and Morgan Tuck were sidelined, underscoring her renewed commitment to success.
