Ring mystery ends with Elizabeth Jacus Rice lead
In a Dec Lost and Found column, keys found on Linn Johnson Road resurfaced with owner Teresa Bear. The 1932 Washington High School class ring with initials ESJ remains unsolved, traced to Elizabeth Stewart Jacus Rice, who attended Washington High School Cedar Rapids and Coe College. A genealogical search uncovered her birth, schooling, marriage to Clifford Rice, and death in 1987, but no heir located.
